Militec is pleased to announce our partnership with Oakwood Controls Corp. Glen Rock, PA to market Oakwood’s world class ‘Location of Miss and Hit’ (LOMAH) electronic target systems in the United Kingdom.
Oakwood Controls founded in 2009, specialises in advanced sensor technologies, including the newest electronic target systems for live fire training, production quality control, and research and development.
The team at Oakwood Controls has been developing advanced sensor technologies for more than 15 years with expertise in sensor selection and integration, as well as development of sensor protocols and applications supporting Military, Police and Civilian End Users with precision shooting and marksmanship training solutions.
The Oakwood electronic target system can detect and locate shots from supersonic bullets with a speed at the target of at least 1,200 feet per second (365 m/s). The combination of acoustic sensors, temperature sensors and electronics produce accuracy levels of +/- 5 mm throughout the scoring area. The system is capable of detecting both hits and misses and is designed to work both on stationary and moving targets.
The system is an affordable solution with instant feedback for long range precision shooting within a split second of pulling the trigger, shooters will see exactly where they hit the target and can record individual or group metrics.
Oakwood LOMAH system may be integrated with Militec’s proven ‘pop-up’ target system for a fixed outdoor range installation or ordered as a ‘standalone’ portable systems
