WARRANTY
12 MONTHS WARRANTY
Militec Ltd (MILITEC) warrants that its products will be free from defects in material or workmanship under normal use and service, for a warranty period of twelve (12) months. This ‘return to base’ (RTB) warranty period shall be subject to receipt of a confirmed Purchase Order or Contract and full payment for the delivered product. The warranty shall commence from the first occurring of either: (i) the date of original installation; or (ii) one (1) month from the date the product arrived at the shipping location as provided by the Customer.
MILITEC reserve the right to make a determination as to whether any product is defective and will be covered under this warranty. If a product is deemed to be defective, MILITEC will repair or replace the product or any parts therein, at its sole discretion. This RTB warranty does not cover costs related to shipping the defective parts from the Customer’s location. Return shipping to the Customer’s location will be covered during the warranty period. This warranty does not cover costs related to travel or accommodations, or on site labour.
This warranty does not cover damages that occur as a result of (i) improper installation or operation; (ii) lack of proper maintenance; (iii) misuse, negligence, accident, abuse and the like; (iv) any unauthorised modifications, adjustments or repairs; or (v) an act of God.
In no event shall MILITEC liability to the customer exceed the cost of repair or replacement of the product determined to be defective. in no event shall militec be liable for any loss of use, inconvenience or any other incidental, indirect, punitive, special or consequential damages.
This warranty excludes all other warranties, representations or promises, express or implied, other than what is contained herein. no representative has the authority to alter or modify the terms or limitations of this warranty, or to make any written or verbal representation on behalf of MILITEC.
